Project 01

Boulder and river-rock front bed

A bare front strip taken to a finished bed. Boulders set first so everything else could be planted around them, a white river-rock border laid against the walk to keep mulch off the concrete, and low planting chosen to stay under the windows.

Front entrance planting

New beds worked in around an existing paver entrance — boulders set, soil and mulch in, then low planting and a Japanese maple placed to hold the corner without crowding the walk.

Project 03

New-build frontage planting

A bare builder's frontage planted out — clipped hedging run the length of the house, mulch beds cut in around it and a young tree set to give the elevation something to grow into.

Artificial turf, start to finish.

A tight back yard stripped to base, then laid with artificial turf around the existing patio.

The same yard finished, artificial turf laid to the curve of the paver patio inside the same fence line. The same yard before: stripped to bare underlay with a roll of artificial turf waiting on the patio.
